Last Saturday we had a great time with new friends Alan Hughes and Jeff Raider. Alan Hughes is Legendary Chef to the Celebrities. You can find him at The Embassy located in the Buena Vista area and Jeff Raider is the Executive Chef for Lure Fishbar, located in the Miami Beach Loews Hotel. You might have tried them in New York City.
Alan brought an amazing octopus dish and Jeff wowed us with a lobster roll and tuna tartar tacos. We paired these dishes with the wines of JOLO Vineyards from Pilot, North Carolina and the Moet Chandon Imperial on Ice – yep Champagne over ice (you gotta try this!). JW Ray from JOLO took us through a tasting and Donae Burston talked to us about The Q event at South Beach and the wonderful portfolio of Moet Chandon and Hennessy USA.
Next week – we welcome back Bill Talbert, President of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau. Chef Brian Massie of The Light Group Las Vegas is participating in the Best of the Munchies at the SoBeWFF. Sobieski Vodka CEO Chester Brandes will be here to talk about the incredible program they have with Fisher House Foundation. And Chef Reylon Agustin from the Ritz Carlton Ft.
